Fishing continues to be fantastic at King Pacific Lodge.

A whopping forty five pounder was landed yesterday at Cheney Point. Congratulations Dave!

Fishing Guide Howard Humchit explained the fish was taken on a flasher and spoon fairly deep at over 100ft. Many of the regular areas have been producing good numbers of both Chinook and Coho in the 70 – 100ft range.

Anglers continue to be fishing most of the hot spots Milbanke Sound has to offer. Cheney, Cheney II and the “Notch” are all favourites. The weather forecast is excellent and we anticipate calm fishing conditions for the foreseeable future.

A regular guest has been joining us on the dock recently to help maintain the fish cleaning area. King Pacific Lodge is located within a popular area for many forms of wildlife and we’ve noted sixteen pairs of Eagles within sight of the lodge.

Be sure to bring your camera as you never know what you’ll see.
